I replaced some old, rickety ceiling fans in my master bedroom with two of these. Overall, I was impressed with these light/fan units. The advantages are many: very bright and dimmable light, so you can adjust the light as you wish. The fan is quiet and moves more air than you think, especially when two fans are running in the same room. The flower night light feature is nice, although I'm not sure I'll be using it often. The remote works well and controls most of the light's functions, with the exception of the fan timer and the different color night light functions. An application is required for this. This is a very lightweight unit that minimizes the stress on the overhead control box. Very low profile, low profile is ideal for low ceilings. Now for the cons: why didn't I give this product 5 stars. The phone app is questionable and I haven't gotten it to work yet. Try again, but don't expect success. And why does he need access to my entire phone? Hmmm? I am not sure. The tiny wires in this block are very fragile so you must be very careful when connecting them. I made a hanger out of the stiff wire I had so I could hang the light fixture and tie it myself without help. I disconnected a few cables and had to reconnect them. All ceilings are different, but I have a decent clearance between the light fixture and the ceiling due to the mounting bracket. It's not a big deal for me, but maybe for those who prefer a tighter, more comfortable fit. In addition, this device uses the European color code for electrical equipment. So make sure you connect the brown wire to the black wire and the blue wire to the white US wire. The manufacturer estimates the service life of the device's LEDs to be at least 5 years. with regular use. I hope I get a little more time as they are used lightly. The time will show.
