This tracker is a waste of money, don't worry. This GPS only pings at random times and does a terrible job of properly tracking rides. I just see my truck parked outside and the tracker says it's been 5 miles down the road for 5 hours. It's not even good for a rough estimate of where your car is. I contacted customer service regarding this and they asked me questions like: GPS trackers out there? Under a metal roof? No, it is in clear daylight and not close to the building. Does GPS work near you? Yes I use GPS in the area every day and we are a public delivery and collection business and truckers arrive using GPS all the time. I even gave them the benefit of the doubt and asked them to send me a replacement in case I had a defective item. The replacement has exactly the same inaccuracies. DO NOT BUY THIS, YOU WILL WASTE TIME.
