This Shark is quick and easy to use for small jobs. It's most effective on tile and hardwood floors for removing fine dirt and pet hair, but I wouldn't recommend it for use on thick or shaggy carpets. This is where your full-size vacuum cleaner comes in. However, I'm sure it will work well for thin indoor and outdoor carpets. It's nice to have this lightweight vacuum for quick jobs rather than lugging out a heavy full-size vacuum. Makes cleaning easy. The vacuum holds a charge well, but I often find that the release button clears the sticks of debris so you may have to open it by hand, which can be a bit painful. I also had a small issue where the speed button would get stuck at high speed after minimal use, but Revain quickly fixed the situation for me by sending me a brand new vacuum cleaner without my knowledge. Now that's what I call great customer service! My new vacuum cleaner works great with no problems👍🏻 Thanks Rewain. :)
