Product works well. "Fog-free" is an exaggeration, and physicists say there is no such product unless the mirror is heated to the temperature of your shower steam. But since it's not a metal base, it works better than other mirrors and I have no problem with just wiping the hardware with my hand and then shaving. This size is perfect for shaving in the shower. The only thing that bothers me is the packaging. It comes with a plastic coating on the mirror surface, and this coating is very difficult to find and peel off. I didn't really know how to remove this coating and ended up having to risk damaging the corner of the mirror surface to find an edge to start peeling it off. I finally managed to pull it off, but it shouldn't be that hard to do so. The rope is a nice touch as I can hang it from my shower head without having it taped or taped to the wall (both look like temporary fixes doomed to fail) but the rope is completely harmless and works fine. Since we have hard water I figured I really needed to wipe down the mirror surface after every shower to keep it from getting hard water stains (which happened with the previous mirror I used).
