Best toenail trimmer I've ever had. The ability to pivot makes it easier to access the toenail from a different angle, and for me it adds a bit more leverage and reach to get the job done quickly and effortlessly, and if you're in your seventh decade, it's not easy task to reach your toes so that's important. The scissors were wide and sharp enough to leave a smooth edge on the toenail. However, I would exercise caution based on common sense. If you cut the pinky toe on your right foot and move right to left along the toenail as if you were cutting cane, the scissors can bite the skin of the adjacent toe and draw blood if you're not careful. I suppose it was a fault of my enthusiasm and delight in how well they did that problematic little toenail because it was so much easier to trim than clippers. But that's probably a one-time deal. I learn quickly.
