I am very glad I received this mattress cover. Judging by the description it's really quiet - I don't even realize it - and the terry cloth top is very soft. As a warning, I'm not sure what exactly the culprit was, but I washed it with a new bathmat and it was. a lot of. Building Again, I don't know if it was a closet or a bathmat, but still be careful when washing this for the first time after purchasing it. Also, one of the seams came undone a bit when I placed it on the mattress - the bottom of the cover stuck a little under the mattress, and when I pulled it I heard a characteristic ripping sound. Inspecting the damage I could see where the stitching had ripped, although not completely so there doesn't seem to be a hole in the case, at least nothing to poke my finger in, but still not that durable so am I surprised that I could tear the seams. However, for the price (less than $20 at the time of review) it seems decent enough.
