It's hard to look at something like this in many ways. They're a chic shade of pink, but breathing filters are more about filtration than fashion. If they are colorful but don't work, they're of little use. They work and are easy to breathe. I've used them for lifting cellulosic insulation in tight spaces, cutting concrete and grinding concrete and they just work and keep going. I've primed concrete in an enclosed space long enough for it to turn gray and have had no trouble breathing through it so far. Then a quick hit with a compressor blew away the concrete dust, they turned pink again and continued to work. Attaching the respirator to the respirator is easy, and it's easy to press down on its center with your thumbs so you can make sure the respirator fits properly before you start work (if you can breathe with the inlets closed, without folding the respirator, you have to adjust it) I don't think they are designed to resist organic solvents etc. - If you are dealing with hazardous chemicals and not dust, you may need to select a different filter. I bought three pairs of these filters. knowing that I have a lot to do. I still have a pair in the sealed packaging and one on the respirator which are still in perfect condition. The last pair eventually clogged with fine dust and was discarded.
