I needed small slotted spoons to use when dropping food from jars and jars for draining, and nice looking spoons. These spoons are perfect for this purpose. They are slightly larger than a regular spoon. They are quite heavy and their description says they are stainless steel which they appear to be. I've used them for dipping olives as well as dipping chopped tomatoes from a Rotel can. I think they would be handy for many things, plus they are attractive enough to put on an appetizer tray or buffet table. I will be buying a few for friends and family for Christmas and making sure they are monogrammed/engraved.
