Review on πŸ’» Dell S3221QS Ultra Thin 4K Display with DisplayPort Certification, Flicker-Free Technology, Tilt Adjustment, Anti-Glare Screen, and High Dynamic Range by George Oyler

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Things to know about use with Mac Silicon

Great curved monitor! In my Mac Studio (M1 Max) setup, using the Display Port option as the primary monitor allows the computer's HDMI port to drive the secondary monitor. The colors of the S3221QS are beautiful. Mac Silicon (e.g. M1) - When used with newer Macs, the screen will intermittently go black for a short time as the default refresh rate in macOS varies (40-60Hz) but is displayed as 60Hz. In System Preferences - Display, change the refresh rate to 60Hz, not "Variables 40-60". The reason for only 4 stars is that the volume of the speakers in the monitor cannot be controlled by the computer, so I'm forced to use separate speakers anyway.
