I just wish the mugs were bigger than the standard 8-10 oz for tea drinking. Reading reviews of other (smaller) mugs, all the mugs gave a lot of weight that didn't actually hold 15-16 oz, so I figured I'd go for those as well. Man I'm glad I did! I noticed something was wrong with the other mugs, but these large bowl shaped mugs make me feel warm and fluffy! (1) Capacity actually exceeds 16 oz. I've included photos to show how much water they hold. Note that the water image has "space in the cup" - I usually do this so we don't spill and have room for milk in your tea or marshmallows in your coke. I then poured water into a measuring scoop - note it's just under 2 cups (or 16 ounces) and water is on the counter [I don't recommend trying to pour liquid from this cup as it tends to spill] (2) Love the color - they are solid white - no tent as far as I can tell. (3) The shape is amazing! Imagine lying on the couch with a giant mug of cocoa and watching it snow or rain. They're perfect for holding and warming two hands, or snuggling up to them with a giant mug and a good book (4). Can be washed in the dishwasher and used in the microwave. And the mug doesn't get very hot in the microwave. (5) 2 cups is a lot! It works well with less sweet hot coconut (or less marshmallow) otherwise it's sugar overload. but I calculate the correct amounts. I think it's worse than a regular store bought 16oz because I think we drink it faster without the lid to keep it warm. It's just a beautiful experience!
