I like the fact that I can fill the tank without removing it. Just lift the lid and pour water straight into it. I use distilled water so I can get rid of the white dust and refill easily. When I first bought it, I read that you shouldn't put a towel under the device. Of course, I didn't attach any importance to that and still put a towel under the block.
