our bedroom window. We live in an apartment in New York with no air conditioning and this is the time of year when you need air conditioning to sleep well. It was so sad when we turned on the air conditioner and heard a terrible noise from it. Based on some external signs, I believe we received a repaired or damaged unit, so this could be a non-standard issue, but we are very upset about it. I contacted the seller just prior to writing this review and I hope they will get back to me with action to resolve the issue in the near future.
