I have been using Belgian waffle makers for many years. Mine broke and I needed another. After researching all the rotating models and checking online review sites, I decided I didn't need a dial to change the time or temperature, but I REALLY wanted removable plates. I've used it a few times and it makes great 7 inch waffles. The green indicator and zoom out is enough to let you know when it's done. Suggestion: You can disassemble everything to clean it or put it in the dishwasher. I have made . A lot of water has entered the bottom of the hinge/drip tray. A simple solution. I drilled a small hole in the bottom near the front edge where the two handles fit together and the latch snaps into place. The bottom is never visible but when I tilt it against the wall all the water drains off easily and nicely.
