I had a Cuisinart coffee maker for about two years and it was fine but it stopped working so I needed a new one. I bought this because it allows you to use my own ground coffee grounds and I don't like Keurig or disposable coffee because it's not sustainable. Because the machine is not expensive, I don't have to worry about using filtered water for mineral deposits. The water comes out very hot which is great because I love my coffee maker. The coffee is hot and strong. I don't use the program function because I don't always use the same coffee blend every day.
