Not Excited - GPS Finder and Accessories

I think too many people rate products with such great reviews too often without actually using them. If you're spending $1200 on a watch and can't wait until your honeymoon is over to give a review. I had this watch a few months ago and I have to say I'm completely blown away for the price. Their main and only purpose I bought if for: heart rate, sapphire crystal because I work in crappy worker conditions that usually ruin my glass and watch with dirt, dust, high chlorine water, herbicides and caustic insecticides. Solar power because I don't want to charge the watch with frequency. I'm outside all day, 5 days a week. Okay, I am charging my watch while writing this review. Battery life with minimal features is less than 21 days. I just kept a heart rate monitor on all the time, no GPS and heart rate. The watch strap is annoying. it's a flexible silicone and for the first month you'll overtighten it and leave an ugly rash. If you wear it in the shower, take it off and wipe away any soap residue. If you don't, you'll end up with a nasty soap rash. Do not buy this watch if you are looking for accurate altitude measurements based on GPS location. I don't know where Garmin gets their elevation maps from, but they don't match anything I have in my area based on our actual elevation readings from our local government and other elevation apps. I don't trust a heart rate monitor as it differs from other methods of measuring heart rate using chest straps or fingertip heart rate monitors. Calorie Burn app and software is what I wanted from Garmin in the first place. I use them to calculate my weekly calorie intake to get an idea of progress. While this is inaccurate, I believe it's consistent. The only plus of the watch are the notifications. I always have dirty hands or when I can't get my phone out of my pocket fast enough. It's great to check calls or see if an SMS is telling me to stop what I'm doing. The number of answers is limited and you can create your own answers. But for the price they should have as much power as the Apple Watch with phone calls and voice texts. I don't find the watch very intuitive and may need an OS update. The same goes for the app as there is so much junk that I just don't use. They should be more customizable based on what I want and don't want. I rate this watch as "hot blonde". It looks good and everyone is jealous that you have it, but it's mostly useless save for a few features, and of course it comes at a price. If you have $1200 and are impulsive like me, I'll give 3 stars.
