Review on Kurt Adler 16-Inch Gingerbread Christmas Nutcracker: Handcrafted Wooden Delight by Patrick Ceo

When I bought the nutcracker I had mixed expectations. I read the reviews, both positive and negative, and decided to take a chance. The first thing I noticed was the chemical smell that came out of the opened box. I suspect it's paint fumes. He came broken; The gingerbread house at the base came loose. This is easily fixed with some wood glue, so it's no big deal. While the nutcracker itself is well drawn, the additional details like the gingerbread, base, and house weren't drawn very well. While there's really nothing wrong with that, be aware that this could be an issue if you're considering purchasing this product. The color looks a bit dull, so I might add another layer of gloss varnish later. I will not be returning the nutcracker as it is very whimsical and would fit well in my collection. However, I decided to save some money and buy an integrating nutcracker next year.
