My 2 year old nephew loves to play with my three D-Cell Maglites when he comes to visit me and one day he dropped it violently and his lightbulb broke (photo 1). I ordered this as a replacement (photo 2 - note the packaging is different than the Amazon photo) and it's a reasonable replacement for the cost ($6) but a major downside is the wattage of the bulb . It's not light at all (as you can see in photo #3 - with the skylight on and #4 - with the light off). That will be enough for me since I rarely use it, but if you use this flashlight on a daily or weekly basis, I would advise you to buy the LED version, which costs 2-3 times more.
