My daughter is 9 years old and recently got her ears pierced. We bought this set so that she had a wide choice. The hoops are so small that they were difficult to fit around the ear and she complained that they hurt when we tried to fit them. We tried 3 different pairs. We'll be giving them away and looking for a slightly larger tire (it's 12mm).
