I've been buying Sketchers for many, many years. I can buy a size 8 and know they fit without even trying them on. I needed a new pair of shoes but there was some kind of virus killing everything so I decided to buy a pair online. The first clue that these shoes weren't quite the same as the ones I always buy was the fact that they were $20 cheaper than regular shoes. When I received them, they didn't fit properly in my toe - they were rubbing my pinky toe. And the boot rubbed against my ankle. I have never had such a problem with shoes of the same style. Most importantly, the outsole is definitely not made from the same material as the real Sketchers. The outsole wore down to a layer of foam in less than 6 months. The sole of every previous shoe has lasted more than a year. Now that the shops are open again, I bought the same shoes from Kohl ($20 more) and they fit me perfectly. I expect the outsole to last over 6 months. Lesson learned. If that seems like too good a value, it is.
