A long time ago I bought a sheet that was moderately priced and brightly colored. Over time, I understand that he did not shed, he was always soft, he used it for a long time. My dog tripped over it. slept on it. His nails were a bit big, but I found my sheet was never torn. Even after my Tommy (dog) got rough on him. Years later it was almost the same as when I bought it. Now that I've grown up, I've realized that I need to buy another one. I see that price is an issue to take care of. I was looking to buy it for my new home and was very excited but was wondering if I could get something close to feel and of course value for money! Here I am with the soft, skimpy sheets. The soft satin finish and thickness of the sheets were very important to me. I found it here. I thought why not test it by washing it twice to see. I washed in a long cycle. Thank God! It went down well. The last sheet I had was 400 counts from tub and above, and it really is 500 counts. It's too thick and heavy to touch and feel. My mattress is 14 inches deep and the fitted sheet slides into the mattress without sliding out at night. But a word of caution: I will update my review again if I come across a problem!
