    Dirty grey, not so soft after wash

    We ordered dark grey, we washed the sheets before use (as advertised, cold gentle wash and we didn't have a dryer so we aired them out dried ). Straight out of the box the sheets were shiny and very soft. After the first wash, the sheets were much less soft and grainy. The color of these sheets is not actually dark grey; they are medium gray at best and muddy brownish gray at worst. There are also a few random before and after wash stains on the pillowcases that we are not comfortable with.

    Not quite for sheets and pillowcases

    Color pretty much matches what you see on screen. Decent sheets, attractive packaging. The originally smooth, silky surface disappears after the first wash; quite rough after washing off the fabric finish. Not a luxury in my opinion, but on the other hand the price is an indication that the advertising message is not being delivered. Our queen bed is a very standard size of 60cm x 80cm, but the sheet is too short to tuck under the mattress. The fitted sheet is about 10 cm longer, so that the…

    Perfect for sheets and pillowcases

    I ordered these sheets because I wanted 100% cotton sheets with a decent thread count that weren't expensive. They met exactly these criteria. I expect they will soften over time as 100% cotton sheets usually do. Given the amount of creases in these sheets right out of the box, I expect to iron them after every wash. (I love crispy pressed leaves). But honestly, I never expect 100% cotton sheets to be wrinkle free. It's too early to tell if these leaves will "curl up" over time. I'll update my…

    Rated after just a few days of using these sheets. I washed them before putting them on the bed, they fit perfectly on the 14 inch full size mattress so everything was fine, they crumpled from the dryer from constant pressing (photo) but I could deal with it. Now after a week of use I have them everywhere my body touches them. I feel like I'm on the beach, lying on the sand. Oh no! Why do all sheets have these damn little irritants on them.
