When I first received the backpack I noticed there was nothing inside to keep the zippers closed. I used clothespins to hold them together so my cat couldn't pull them apart. It worked fine. The other day my 8.5 lb cat fell through the bottom of the bag while walking. The bottom closes and the zipper opens like an old zipper (although it was closed and the two zippers pulled together). This was probably the 10th time I've used it and I've only had it for a month and a half. Luckily we were inside so my pet was safe.
