Cable Noise - Headphones

I purchased this product after my Sony MDR-AS40EX headphones lost power. I wanted to try something different so I bought these headphones. The first thing I thought when I took them out was that they were larger than I expected. The fit will vary depending on the size of your earlobe as the clip needs to be attached to your ears. Fit and comfort are good for me. The sound suits me too. I use them to listen to music and podcasts while gardening and jogging. I wear sunglasses so this design doesn't get in the way of the glasses. While they're great for slower-paced outdoor work, I've found that when running, the cords bump into the earbuds and make a lot of noise. My previous headphones made no cable noise when pulling the cable through the ear. These headphones also use a slightly thicker and heavier cable. I prefer the thinner cable and the fact that my previous headphones could use a short or extra cable length. Some runners who use an armband for their MP3 player find the short armband ideal. Overall I think these are good headphones for the price. However, for a run I will go back and check out the latest version of the previous headphones I had. (Sony MDR-AS40EX)
