Installing on Suzuki Samurai

My regular bulbs gave about the same light as a lit candle. Not good. Therefore, when replacing, I considered many options. This kit seemed like an easy solution to keep the standard look but actually see where I'm going at night compared to Braille. Standard samurai bulbs are 7 inches round so the fit should be snug. no When I received the kit, the packaging said 'Made in Germany', but the shades themselves say 'Made in Bulgaria'. Now I'm not a geographer. wiz, but the two countries are not the same. There are 3 raised tabs on each globe that I had to remove in order to even fit the globe in a standard mounting frame. After installing the globes in a standard samurai frame, they are about 5% smaller than standard resulting in balls rocking in place with about a quarter inch gap. I used foam tape around the outside edge of the frame where it meets the ball to stabilize it. After checking the light levels, I would say that they are only average in terms of projection. I decided to upgrade these lamps to LEDs. Doesn't matter. I have purchased Beamtech H4 LEDs here at Revain and I can say they make a huge difference in the amount of light they put out. The only issue I had was that one of the LED bulbs fitted snugly and tightly while the other was a loose fit. in the body of the globe. I'm assuming it's a globe casting issue and I'll check it out to see what the issue is. LEDs require an adapter as many Japanese cars have negative circuitry that requires this. I used the following kit: https://www.amazon. com/gp/product/B07M6W1PMK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1LEDs are by far the best choice if you want to see where you're going at night. Hope that helps.
