Review on Dr Scholls FREESTEP Sneaker Single Men's Shoes for Fashion Sneakers by Christopher Holker

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Very narrow in my rating

Maybe it's because my husband has a wide foot, but he says it's not comfortable at all. He ordered a size larger than he normally wears and they are not only too tight but also too short. The insole doesn't have much cushioning either. He was very surprised by this because he knew other Dr. Scholl, and he liked her. Another issue is that there isn't much padding between the toe box and the laces, which puts more pressure on the top of his foot. The shoes are canvas which you think will keep your feet cool but his feet get sweaty when he wears them. The shoes are mostly well made, but after about 30 minutes of wearing the soles started to wrinkle. They are also slippery but that can only be because the ground wasn't rough. The only positive thing he can say about the shoes is that the construction of the shoes seems to be of good quality. There are no glue marks where the sole meets the shoe, the laces are strong and the stitching is even and straight.

Pros
  • Great fit
Cons
  • Shoelaces can be difficult to adjust or tie
