Review on Lisle 62300 MacPherson Strut Tool: The Ultimate Solution for Effortless Strut Repairs in Sleek Black by Nick Henning

don't buy the cheaper ones. it will last and be sure.

I'm looking at the cheaper ones (about half the price) and the ones you rent from the auto parts store. That might be normal for a small car, but even then they look cheap and unsafe. The hazard from a compressed spring is pretty high, so since I like my hands, for $30 more I figured I'd give it a try. It is made in the USA. It has existed for many years. It is very durable. It is screwed to the spring so that it cannot slip. I've used it a few times while working on Mustang race carriers. Keep it well lubricated (don't skimp on lube) and it will last a lifetime. Also just to give you an idea of the quality. Cheap ones do not recommend using a percussion instrument with it. This one does. The time saving alone is worth it.
