It didn't work at all. I'm the right size for my cat, medium. She is only shy at 8 pounds and has long hair. Less than a minute after I put it on, she slipped out with her front paws. I put them back hoping it was an accident but she just pulled them out again. I think the problem was that the length of the suit was too short. She would probably be better if I got a big one. Or if the suit's neckline was longer and more elastic.
