Temperatures are off the charts

Every time I get a new thermometer or sensor, I test it with my other thermometers and sensors with hot water around 140 degrees. My other sensors, both ThermoPro and non-ThermoPro, as well as my 2 digital meat thermometers were within 1 degree of each other. This sensor registered 12 degrees higher temperature, which means I would have been serving undercooked meat if I had used it.
