I have this nail finder for installing a Nest Hello doorbell. The main reason I got this is that it has the ability to scan for AC power cords as I wanted to make sure I wasn't drilling through cords that are in the wall. This bolt finder worked wonders and I was able to find all the places where the AC wires were and was able to successfully drill holes. The spike finder mode is very accurate and I compared it to another old one I had and it was accurate every time. This is a great spike finder for the price and it does the job very well.
