Very soft! for duvets and sets

I bought the gray one. Note that there is definitely a bit of a purple hue to it on the outside of the quilt. But that doesn't bother me because it's the perfect weight, size and softness. .Mine doesn't slip or slide off the bed, probably because I have jersey sheets. Heavier than I thought and I'm very happy about it! It's a duvet, not a comforter, but are there small loops on the outside corners? Not quite sure what it is for? I will be warm and comfortable all winter!
