Review on MISSHA M Magic Cushion No.27 With SPF50+/PA+++ by Ryan Whatley

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good formula, needs more shades

As you can see the shade difference between the foundation I use now and the compact there is a 2-3 shade difference, The shade was much lighter than my skin but luckily I have contour and bronzer to have balanced that out. Unfortunately due to needing extra color, the end result doesn’t look as natural since you can tell I have a well powdered face. If the shade did match that would have been great because the formula is really light weight and natural. I have oily skin so this foundation feels really nice since it’s light, so when my face builds up oil through the day It won’t feel as heavy compared to my everyday foundation. I also really like the fact that it has SPF 50 (the main reason I got it, me always forgetting spf before starting makeup). The shade I bought is No.23 but I’ll be going online to the Missha site to purchase the shade No.25 which I think will match my skin tone perfectly. I really wish they posted a photo of swatches of all the different shades on someone’s skin so we would be able to tell what shade matches best. Please do remember that the photos of me are after I applied contour and bronzer so that’s not the true shade of the foundation on my skin, I have a room mate who’s lighter than me so I just gave it to her and it matched her skin tone perfectly, and concealed her redness very well.
