Mixed Feelings best in my review

UPDATED REVIEW: I hated this at first, but I decided to give it another shot before throwing it out. My skin is currently in better shape than it was originally when I tried this; I have no active breakouts and no flaking. I tried applying this with a Real Techniques sponge instead of the sponge this comes with, and when used with a patting motion (rather than wiping it on) this works better. It no longer has the drying effect or the crepey look that it had before. I still need to use a strong…

Pros
  • Moisturizes the skin, preventing it from drying out
Cons
  • May not suit all skin undertones

Great value!: my feedback

I have a fair and light neutral/warm skintone as I'm Greek and Italian. No23 was perfect for me, the formula is very moisturizing however i wouldn't recommend powdering over it unless you're very oily since it does set down to a natural/moist fit. No21 is for only the fairest skin tones. I know the magic/cover last cushion is darker but this one is very light. My only issue is this seems to dry out on my cheeks and become more oily on my forehead, not because of my skin just because of the…

Pros
  • The PA+++ rating helps defend against skin damage and discoloration
Cons
  • Can be difficult to remove from clothing or other surfaces

First cushion foundation impression: Not bad

It’s summer. I was looking for a lightweight foundation. I’ve been obsessed with k-beauty products and regimens. I’ve tried the missha bb cream with the red tube in the past, but it was not a holy grail for me. It was just ok. I decided to try this missha cushion because of the bigger range of shade selection and for the high SPF +PA+++. It also claims to have medium/full coverage. I think it does cover nicely my imperfections as my normal color stay foundation does. It’s lightweight, but maybe

Pros
  • Delivers buildable coverage, depending on preferences
Cons
  • May not blend well with certain types of makeup brushes or sponges

My favorite suncreen compact ever!

This is the best suncreen compact ever. I have tried nearly every sunscreen compact over 30 spf. This one is sheer but not to sheer. The coverage is just right, it does not look like heavy caked makeup. It goes on smooth and does not cake during the day even when you reapply it which I do every two hours. It is heavily perfumed so if you don’t like that you may not like this compact however I do find the smell dissipates after about 15 minutes so it doesn’t bother me. I find this compact…

Pros
  • This is great for a light daily cover.Color Was a little too light but other than that good product
Cons
  • Can be expensive for some budgets

Not the best for dry skin

I really, truly tried loving this product. Especially since everyone seemed to like it and the price was so affordable. But I noticed every time I used this product my skin would dry and crack, requiring lots and lots of moisturizing prep to help reduce that. So if you have dry prone skin I would definitely be cautious of that happening. Just be prepared to moisturize a lot otherwise it may cause your skin to look flakey. Mixing it with a more moisturizing foundation may help as well.

Pros
  • Face
Cons
  • Can be difficult to find in stores, may need to be ordered online

Good formula, needs more shades

As you can see the shade difference between the foundation I use now and the compact there is a 2-3 shade difference, The shade was much lighter than my skin but luckily I have contour and bronzer to have balanced that out. Unfortunately due to needing extra color, the end result doesn’t look as natural since you can tell I have a well powdered face. If the shade did match that would have been great because the formula is really light weight and natural. I have oily skin so this foundation…

Pros
  • Long-wearing smooth silica bead powder absorbs sweat and sebum, provides long-lasting wear
Cons
  • Requires regular cleaning of the cushion applicator to avoid buildup of bacteria

Great product on my review.

First thing to know about my skin situation, I have pcos and other hormonal imbalances, my skin is combination (very oily in my t zone, very dry and acne prone), I have always struggled to find things that were compatible with my skin. Either it makes me break out, shows/creates dry patches or my oil breaks up the foundation. However, this product has been great for me personally and I have been using it for the past 3 years now. It doesn't cause me break outs or irritation which is amazing for

Pros
  • I like everything about it. Good coverage. Very easy to spot and reapply.
Cons
  • May cause breakouts for some users

The ONLY liquid foundation that works for me! A+++

My HG go-to foundation has been Alima Pure's satin matte mineral loose powder. I've been a customer for almost as long as the company has been in business. Throughout the years I have tried to find a liquid foundation that will work with my skin because I don't always want the powered look but wanted something that could make my skin look dewy and flawless.I'm on the pale end of the spectrum with acne-prone, combination skin. My skin is often both dry, flaky in the same places it is oily, with…

Pros
  • Effectively conceals blemishes and other imperfections
Cons
  • May be difficult to remove from brushes or other applicators

What I was looking for!

I love cushion make-up. I was using the Physicians Formula brand that’s been discontinued. It’s been hard finding an affordable replacement with SPF that fits a very fair skin tone for redheads. I wore "light” in PF and I just ordered the #21. It’s perfect for my skin tone. You can go shear by spreading it or patting for a heavy coverage. I have lots of allergies and very sensitive skin, so far I’ve had no problems or reactions.I can’t stand to feel makeup on my face so I prefer a sheer look…

Pros
  • Ok for the price but a bit grey tone
Cons
  • Limited shade range may not cater to all skin tones

Almost perfect! in my review

I got this compact in the richest shade, #27, honey beige. I am "African American" and use only k-beauty skin care, specifically Donginbi and a few other snail mucin products from another brand. I don't like heavy makeup at all and I don't particularly like the look of traditional western foundations, no matter the price. I bought this for it's ingredients and from videos I've seen of Korean women raving about cushion compacts. I am "light skinned" or what they call in the black community a…

Pros
  • Feels lightweight and comfortable on the skin
Cons
  • May require frequent reapplication in hot and humid weather

Not as light as lead to believe.

I was reading the reviews for this product cause as someone with a really fair skin tone I just wanted to make sure that the shade I picked would be a decent match. I saw a review that said 'I have really fair skin and NO.23 is perfect cause Korean beauty products are so sheer. I can't imagine how 'white' NO.21 would be' which is true in a sense but this shade was still to dark for me, enough so that I had to blend into my neck extra to make sure there were no lines but overall the coverage is…

Pros
  • Has a non-greasy texture that doesn't clog pores
Cons
  • May not provide enough coverage for acne or rosacea

Great foundation but dark

When I tried this foundation on I knew it would be dark even for being the lightest shade available. I am very pale so I suggest going to the brand site and ordering the lightest shade. They definitely have more range on the website. Beautiful cushion foundation though! Keeping mine for when I self tan.

Pros
  • Makeup
Cons
  • May not provide full coverage for more severe blemishes or scars

The best foundation I’ve ever had

I bought it without any expectations, my interest was because of the sun protection and because it was cheap. it was a surprise, the coverage is perfect, and the duration is incredible, good size and easy to apply. I'm in love. just buy it.

Pros
  • MC27AZ
Cons
  • May feel greasy or oily on some skin types

Great coverage for my opinion

Light amd exceptional coverage. Best for drier skin. Only complaint is that it comes with very little product. Can transfer easily onto clothing or other surfaces.

Pros
  • The lightest option is still too dark for my skin tone.
Cons
  • Can transfer easily onto clothing or other surfaces
