Review on MISSHA M Magic Cushion No.27 With SPF50+/PA+++ by Kevin Robinson

I got this compact in the richest shade, #27, honey beige. I am "African American" and use only k-beauty skin care, specifically Donginbi and a few other snail mucin products from another brand. I don't like heavy makeup at all and I don't particularly like the look of traditional western foundations, no matter the price. I bought this for it's ingredients and from videos I've seen of Korean women raving about cushion compacts. I am "light skinned" or what they call in the black community a "red bone" and #27 is almost the perfect shade. It comes off a bit light on me, but that's ok because I use this mainly for my under eye area and to cover my few hyperpigmentation marks that I'm working on fading. I follow that with a small drop of a liquid bronzer on my cheeks and blend, (right now I have Sol de Janeiro's bronzer, but I'm sure any would work as long as it's not that tacky glitter stuff). The combo of the two give me a beautiful, honey glow all day. I get no creasing or powdery look under my eyes, and I'm 45 years old and I work under high intensity operating room lights all day! After that I wear only winged eyeliner and a sheer lip tint or my Mac "Burning Love" lippy. This is great for me because I'm not interested in heavy or full coverage with a foundation. I want the health of my skin to shine through because I've spent a lot on my skin care and I don't want to cover up my progress! I understand these products are Korean and therefore targeted for the complexion of that family, but a few darker choices at this great price would be divine! Nevertheless, I will continue to buy shade #27 and make it do what it do!
