The monitor stand feels very solid out of the box and is relatively easy to assemble if you follow the instructions. I had a puck problem for my BenQ GW2480 monitor. The combined width of the metal and plastic washers in addition to the mounting plate was too wide for the screws to engage the threads. I ended up using metal washers to position the plate and monitor, with the rounded and smooth side facing the monitor. I could have polished it up, but I thought it would be too much work for something I hadn't even seen. Also, I'm not worried about scratching the plate as it seems pretty strong and is at the back where I can't see it anyway. Overall a good and solid stand with good freedom of movement but I would have liked the width of the plastic washers to be reduced a bit or longer screws added.
