Review on Grill De "Longhi MultiGrill CGH 1012D, silver / black by Ada Plech ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

Keep in mind that the DeLonghi requires a lot of space for both storage and use. It is probably the largest of household electric grills. Keep this in mind when making a purchasing decision. When I cook on it, I put it on a glass-ceramic stove under the hood and I can’t attach it anywhere else, otherwise it will take up almost the entire work surface between the stove and the sink, and there is still a lot of all kinds of equipment . Eh, I don’t have an island .

Pros
  • Large size and sufficient thickness of the plates. The heaters are built into the plates and there is an elevated temperature mode for a short time of the start of the cooking cycle, which makes it possible for the plates not to cool down when laying a large amount of wet products. On another grill (Tefal Optigrill XL) the food did not cook from the bottom as well as on this grill. Separate plate heating control is also a big plus. For me, DeLongs are definitely better due to the fact that the plates are horizontal and the products do not move anywhere, like on Tefal, where the plates are tilted so that the liquid drains. DeLonghi has good ribs on the plates, the liquid is also normally removed.
Cons
  • Requires thorough wiping with a napkin after using the entire control panel, as it spatters more when frying than tefal (which has all the controls placed up on the handle). The moisture and fat collection container is located at the back, which is not as convenient as the large front tefal tray. But, I repeat, that I, despite all the shortcomings of De Longhi, like it more.
