This is the coziest blanket I've ever seen. I used it on my 27 year old horse who was trimmed on a recent trip to Florida. It worked great for him and kept him at the perfect temperature. I feel like he's not that stiff and that helps with his mild arthritis. It has a great fit and the hardware is very solid and well made. My horse lies down at night, but he has not torn it and has not taken it off. It's light and gets dirty. I would also recommend a rain cover for the hood if it rains. It has a well made feel. I was very impressed with the quality and would recommend!
