Review on 🚰 Clearsource Premium RV Water Filter System with Pristine Water Flow and Built-in Stand by Harald Patterson

This is the only one of the three filters I've tried that shows clear water test results. I tried the most common Camco in-line filter and our water still had an odor. I purchased the Water Works Bacteria Growth Test Kit and ran several tests over the course of a week. There was significant growth. The test color was maxed out, which was pretty discouraging. I then switched to Watts permanently installed filters in terms of cost and quality. Although I discovered both the Clearsource and Watts brands at the same time, the $200 price difference won me over. After I installed the Watts filter, the odor from the faucet went away, but the test results showed an average growth mark on the water analysis chart. Not very impressed with this as we work full time and would like to buy less bottled water. Finally, just over a month ago, I was able to get my hands on a Clearsource device. The installation was agony for me. I'm used to doing everything myself, but I needed a hand to keep my patience while winding the hose onto the block since the fittings on the end of the filter don't move. This is inconvenient but a major shortcoming of the Watts device so I can see why they have been addressed. Also, for the very common hose that runs from the filter to the RV, this 4 foot Camco needed 1 or 2 gaskets to stop the leak. I've had this thing for so long I can't remember if it even worked. But it's a head for those who understand. Make sure you have some hose seals and you're gold. There are no leaks from the block. Anyway, the good part! Analysis of the water turned out to be completely clean, without color. I do this monthly waiting for the second test to verify. It's all worth it to me and I appreciate all the work these guys put into making this filter. We love it.
