Better than expected!

First Modification of my Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road 2020 so I was very hesitant but with the great reviews I was sure it would be a good experience. The packaging was excellent as was the high quality. METAL letters. 3M glue is already applied to the back of each letter and cut to perfection. The instructions were a little confusing as it said not to apply when it's hot (how do we know it's hot?) but the back says to use a heat gun or blow dryer. Here's what I did for my setup, which turned out to be absolutely perfect. The ambient temperature was 90 degrees. I made sure the truck's metal wasn't hot, so I left it in the garage for a couple of hours. I cleaned the embossed letters on the tailgate with rubbing alcohol and made sure they were dry. I pulled out each letter and tried them on to make sure there weren't any problems before I started. Then I removed the 3M transfer paper and used a hair dryer to heat the glue. Nothing crazy, just make sure it's warm and sticky. And here's the jittery part that requires a steady hand. Once you've attached these letters, they won't move, so take your time, be patient, and be careful. Embossed letters have some wiggle room, so make sure they're straight before sliding them into place. What I was most afraid of was that one of the letters would fall to the ground and a pile of sand would get on the glue, but that didn't happen. The entire installation took about 10 minutes. It looks like it came out of the factory that way. My wife was very skeptical and wanted vinyl letters but once I put them on and showed her there was no turning back. We both love how it turned out and how much it changes the look of our truck. Very satisfied and highly recommended! (photos included)
