Review on ๐Ÿ“บ [Professional Version] ANTOP Outdoor HDTV Antenna - 720ยฐ UFO Dual Omni-Directional Indoor Antenna with Smartpass Amplifier & 4G LTE Filter - 4K HD 1080P VHF UHF - Ship from USA by Jason Staggs

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Channels not supplied

The only benefit of this antenna is that my weakest channel (ABC) on my indoor antenna now has 2 out of 4 reception bands instead of 1 and no longer suffers from intermittent "pixelated" images due to latency /data loss. Hence 5 stars for image quality, ease of installation (simplicity) and assembly (little to assemble). My house is 600 feet above sea level. I live in Morris County, New Jersey, and when the trees in front of my house aren't leafy, I can see the Empire State Building from my bed. I installed this antenna with a view of the New York area 6 inches under the eaves on the 2nd floor. My DN010165 8 inch plastic RCA, which I got for FREE from Sling TV and installed in reverse behind my entertainment center, was able to receive 46 channels. This antenna never picked up more than 29 channels after trying 4 different angular positions (which required repeated climbing of the extension ladder 20 feet in the air), and that's after a few scans. The? Reasons I'm not returning them include: a) I have 4 holes in my house that I need to patch, b) I don't want to get the ladder back out and risk falling, and c) I put it on I want to not watching enough TV to agonize over the loss of channels I'll probably never watch anyway. It might work well in an RV, but if you think you're going to knock it out of the park with that antenna mounted in front of your house, I'd suggest a less expensive approach first.
