I wanted to use this in a wall lamp without a lampshade but the glass of the bulb does not diffuse the LEDs inside so you won't get an evenly lit one get lightbulb. The light source is visible and I could easily see the warm yellow diode and cool bluish diode inside. There is also a dark spot on the top of the bulb. I didn't like the light quality.
