Extremely good headphones. (Fusion 700/500)

, I debated for a long time whether to take this headset or go with another pair of Astro A50 Gen 2 headphones. There are almost no reviews that really say how they sound or the sound quality compared to them, so I think I'll do it. First off, the build quality feels cheap, but feels like solid cheapness so they won't break right away if you use the headphones properly. In fact, they are very comfortable even with the leather ear pads pre-installed. If your head gets sweaty, fabric ear pads are included. The mic can be hidden, making it easier to wear in public without prying eyes, provided you disable RGB via the app. The sound quality out of the box is neutral compared to my bass-heavy A50s. This is phenomenal for listening to music as well as many games. In games like Battlefield, it's good to have heavy bass to add detail and immersion, but not many games require you to shake your head to enjoy it. Overall, sound quality I'll be using these in place of my A50s for anything but war. The connection via Bluetooth sounded sketchy at first but is very nice as my A50s have spoiled me. The range from my PC to the headset is uninterrupted throughout the apartment and remains constant. The microphone is short but sounds good as long as you're connected to the network. When you try to use it via Bluetooth, the audio gets compressed and sounds like junk. But if you're sitting next to a PS4/PC this shouldn't be a problem. If you are using an external microphone (HyperX, Blue Yeti, Rode, Shure, etc.) then this is not a problem. The headset also supports dual mode, powered by two sources. This is more useful on PS4 than PC, but allows you to plug your headset into your console, connect to your phone via BT and play music over it at the same time. Very nice touch. EDIT: The low battery noise is just terrible. After direct comparison with other headphones, they are flat in all areas. Literally get everything else.
