Sounds like a couple of cans if you're lucky

The touch controls on the headset are more of a pain than a blessing. When turning the headset on and off, I accidentally touch the side face with my palm or something which turns the music on - it never stops and stays there, just stops and immediately resumes like a double tap. Windows will recognize the headset as multiple devices, one wired, one Bluetooth, one for the sound studio software you need to use (assuming each app you use is compatible), and a communication device. Figuring out…

Extremely good headphones. (Fusion 700/500)

, I debated for a long time whether to take this headset or go with another pair of Astro A50 Gen 2 headphones. There are almost no reviews that really say how they sound or the sound quality compared to them, so I think I'll do it. First off, the build quality feels cheap, but feels like solid cheapness so they won't break right away if you use the headphones properly. In fact, they are very comfortable even with the leather ear pads pre-installed. If your head gets sweaty, fabric ear pads are

The sound quality and overall performance are terrible, don't buy it!

For starters, when you turn on the headset, you may hear a slight hiss. Imperceptible in games, but annoying when surfing the Internet. The headset will also turn off automatically after about 5 minutes if there is no sound. In the Asus software (Asus Armory) this function cannot be changed. When the headset battery is low, it beeps about every 15 seconds, which is very distracting and annoying when paying for a game because you can't hear anything while it's beeping. There is also no way to…

Great headset - practical limits

First off, I'm a HUGE ROG fan. Literally every PC I own is a ROG. When I saw that the 700 had Bluetooth and I could go wireless and still have my own RGB, I was blown away. I also have a Fusion 500 so I expected them to be the same. Most importantly, YES, they can connect directly to your Bluetooth-enabled computer via Bluetooth and work 100% wirelessly. Unfortunately, RGB only works when the included USB cable is connected. It's kind of a shame because they're basically no different than the…

Great headphones! on the subject of audio and video accessories

This headset is by far the most beautiful headset I have ever owned. I have used Asus ROG Strix Wireless before and was so impressed I couldn't help but buy this one. My first impression of the headset is the build quality. It's very sturdy and I love its design. They came with a set of replacement ear pads and both are very comfortable. Personally, I chose the skin because it looked familiar. The music and audio controls on the side are quite responsive. Rarely do I have to log in twice to…

Great sound quality, extremely poor design

I was attracted by the ROG Strix Fusion 700's cool design, RGB, matte gold glossy finish and extreme comfort. That's what these headphones are good for. I received the headset in a week and have been using it for a month with no problems and now for the past few days the USB port to connect to the headset is so poorly designed that I've never had a gaming session where in Mitten in the session I had to stop the game, disconnect and reconnect the USB port. I've had sessions where the slightest…

Great sound when tuned to the right audio format

The 24-bit/96kHz DAC sounds good on paper, but this audio format muffles the sound to the limit. The bass sounds awful, worse than $10 headphones if they exist. This may sound good at first, but enable Windows Sonic for Headphones and enable 7.1 Surround Sound in Control Panel in Headphones Properties. The default audio format is 16bit/48kHz, but this does not affect the audio output. Turn up the volume and the headphones sound amazing like I'm listening to a brand new pair. Turn on 7.1…
