This headset is by far the most beautiful headset I have ever owned. I have used Asus ROG Strix Wireless before and was so impressed I couldn't help but buy this one. My first impression of the headset is the build quality. It's very sturdy and I love its design. They came with a set of replacement ear pads and both are very comfortable. Personally, I chose the skin because it looked familiar. The music and audio controls on the side are quite responsive. Rarely do I have to log in twice to register. They sound great even without 7.1 surround sound. Good deep bass and tight mids. When I turn on 7.1 there is an echo. I definitely use it for gaming, but it doesn't seem quite right for music. I haven't tried the mic since I've had a Blue Yeti, but I tested it for a friend who was thinking about buying the same headset and he said the sound was a bit muffled, but I think there's more to it than that to do it. compared to my other microphone. Some things to watch out for: If you plan on using a phone app to change the backlight color, it's very buggy and mine won't connect 100% of the time. That's actually what's keeping me from giving this perfect review. Also, my Aura sync app does not sync the headset with other Aura products, but the Aura app (peripherals) which is separate from the sync app allows me to control their lights and works fine. I think that's a little strange. To use two audio sources, you MUST use USB and Bluetooth. You cannot use Bluetooth to connect 2 devices wirelessly. I was a little disappointed with it, but the ability to listen to music on my phone without having to press ALT+TAB outside of the game to change it, and the ability to take calls while playing without leaving the game. My headset DURING the game and my Discord team are great. I really don't mind hanging on to it. It's also nice because I can turn off the USB port and still listen to music while walking around the house. Finally: For my rating I collect points in the loyalty program ROG Elite Rewards.
