I've had this handy Dirt Devil Quick Flip for four months and it has made our lives cleaner. There are a few things that are very important to consider before the gadget is ready to use. The vacuum cleaner must be charged before use. The indicator above flashes slowly to indicate charging mode. I had to charge mine twice for a total of about 24 hours before it worked (probably user error). Make sure the plug is fully inserted into the vacuum's outlet, a loose cord will affect proper charging. The vacuum cleaner will not work while connected to the cord, regardless of whether it is charging or not. Make sure the vacuum is off by sliding the on/off switch towards the handle to activate charging mode. Finally, the battery does not stay charged very long on standby, I usually use it and charge it within 48 hours. Once fully charged, this little suction machine is ready to suck up less than a quarter. What every owner should know: Inside the vacuum cleaner is a very small disposable filter that gets dirty pretty quickly. I couldn't find a replacement for Revain or anywhere online. Instead I had to place an order with the company at 1-800-321-1134. Filter model F-101, part number 440009116. Filters are only a few dollars each. The vacuum is fairly easy to clean, but there are a few slots next to the nozzle where dirt collects and it takes a little more effort to fully clean it. I just wish it had a mount.
