Words cannot describe how much I love my Barbour Beadnell Classic Olive Waxed Jacket! It's waterproof in wet weather, has a more feminine shape than the Bedale, effortlessly rustic chic, and is perfect for outdoor festivals and camping trips. We live on the South Carolina coast which is very comfortable during the coldest winter days of the 40's and 50's. We also spend a lot of time at our cottage in the Smoky Mountains, where it can get chilly even in spring. I followed Barbour's sizing guidelines when ordering and on first try I regretted the size is smaller but with a cozy sweater underneath the size is perfect. It's really comfortable, it has big pockets and I love the soft checkered lining. For colder times I bought a matching zip lining, scarf and hood. I also have a Beadnell Polarquilt jacket, but I wear a waxed jacket more often. If you live in a region with cold winter temperatures, you may only be able to wear a waxed jacket in the spring and fall, but it's worth every penny.
