So yes. I work in the meat department and have to use lots of soap and water to clean the rear saws every night. The mixture of soapy water, bits of fat and meat on a tiled floor was too much of a challenge for our anti-slip hero. The previous new balance worked perfectly for me, never flew off. It feels like walking on an oily surface in plastic-bottomed shoes. Not a safe feeling at all. Even after feeling that unprotected hold, I still gave them a chance. Last night I slipped right off my feet while cleaning and tried to move hastily to put the sink down before it overflowed, then nearly jumped off the cord as I stood on uneven ground. The first miss meant I was ready and the second reinforced the decision even more. As the title suggests, I'm not sure if other people would agree that slip resistance is actually a noticeable factor, but in my experience I'd be better off with a regular pair of tennis shoes than these. The rubber on the bottom feels too stiff and not flexible enough to securely connect to that surface. Check out the reviews and find out what kind of surface they are for, because tile and water aren't one of them. Came back and asked for my money back.
