What could be easier than securing your laptop with a cable lock? I bought this product and a year later I'm still trying to figure out how it works. I can easily "lock" and "unlock" the device myself, but it just wouldn't lock when I put it in my laptop's slot. The pin looks odd compared to some of the cable locks I've seen before and doesn't rotate when in the slot. A few months later I finally cracked the case. I had to push really hard to get the fastener to go deep enough into the laptop's protective slot. This is due to the compression of a small piece of rubber attached to the laptop. At least now I can use the cable! Pooh!
