I wish I had had something like this many years ago. I was trying to reduce plastic and didn't have a metal colander for hot noodles and veggies. So happy I don't have to hold the pot and try to drain the hot water without pouring it all straight down the sink and burning myself. I even used it to rinse quinoa and it worked. It took a while for all the quinoa to come out because quinoa is tiny. This item has never been easier to use and clean. Love it!
