It was easy to put together but as I put it together I noticed that everything looked very cheap. The fur is a light fluff glued directly to a hollow piece of "wood". After it was done I put it in the living room and brought my cats with me. They did not look at him and did not approach him. I sat next to him, played with my cats and tried to hit the ball from above. They didn't care. Last week I used a laser pointer to get them closer to the scraper but they stop following the pointer as it gets close to the item. I pet him while they look and use treats to get them to come to him, but they take the treats and return to safety. Every penny spent was a waste. I now have a $65 piece of junk I need to get rid of.
