Happy Cats is the Best in Cats

I was a bit concerned that my two cats would be scared of the llama's "head" but it didn't bother them at all and they both immediately started this stake to use. As for long-term durability, I don't know how long it will last as I've only owned it for a short time, but anything that makes fur babies happy is fine with me.

So pretty! A problem.

I have a big boy (16 pounds). The stand itself is very thick in diameter, larger than I expected. The board itself is also large so it won't tip over. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 is the quality. The board is covered in fur but looks like a few cat scratches and probably doesn't look good.

Great scratching post

My little friend Toby (my cat) loves his alpaca scratching post. He uses it instead of furniture all the time. As soon as I picked it up he started using it, not a chair. It's very easy to put together and I'm not mechanical. He can stretch and pull with all his strength and does not fall over. it's strong

Save your furniture - buy an alpaca!

One of my best buys! FINALLY my old cats have a scratching post. They actually look for this thing and use it regularly. These are old, established cats. The ones that ruined my new dining room chairs and more than one sofa armrest. I glued the catnip to the perch and put the cat's double sided tape on the spots I wanted them to stop scratching - but whatever - it WORKS! And it's super cute too! So glad I bought this!

We love this cat scratching post -

BUT. our four cats are not. They already have eight scratching posts throughout the house; all are used daily. We bought it for Karolina's room and it looks great but no kitten wants to use it and everyone has tried it. I doused it in catnip thinking it might break the ice - nothing helps. Because they all have claws, they abuse everyone else. So we suspect that there must be an odor that we cannot perceive. Who knows. Guess we have to start looking again!

Cats don't like him.

It was easy to put together but as I put it together I noticed that everything looked very cheap. The fur is a light fluff glued directly to a hollow piece of "wood". After it was done I put it in the living room and brought my cats with me. They did not look at him and did not approach him. I sat next to him, played with my cats and tried to hit the ball from above. They didn't care. Last week I used a laser pointer to get them closer to the scraper but they stop following the pointer as itโ€ฆ
